Movable Type

Movable Type is a word-building card-drafting game with a bookish theme. You can think of it as Scrabble mixed with Sushi Go, but with an unusual victory mechanic that delights players and ensures that everyone is invested until the final word is played.

won best analogue game at the Imirt 2016 Game Awards.

Movable Type was funded through Kickstarter in 2016 and won Best Anologue Game at the Imirt 2016 Irish Game Awards and a British Library Lab Award. A second edition was produced in 2017 and then the game was licensed to Osprey Games and rereleased as Letterpress.
